Job Summary
Obtain high-quality radiographic images of diagnostic quality while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and regulatory compliance. Perform independent radiographic procedures, verify orders using two identifiers, and explain procedures to ensure patient understanding. Practice radiation safety principles per ALARA guidelines, insert IV catheters for contrast injections, and clean imaging equipment per infection control protocols. Scan and verify all documents into PACS, identify image artifacts, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams. Maintain regular attendance and comply with all policies. Requires ARRT certification, state licensure, and BCLS within 30 days.
Required Qualifications
- 0-1 years of clinical experience as a radiologic technologist
- ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state
- BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire
