Job Summary
Support Operating Room cases with radiology guidance, protocols, and equipment troubleshooting. Perform imaging for myelograms, venograms, arthrograms, and therapeutic chemotherapy, while assisting physicians with biopsy, aspiration, and sterile tray setup. Insert intravenous lines, set up sterile instruments, and provide patient transportation between the Emergency Room and In-Patient areas. Conduct portable x-ray imaging, adjust technical factors, and assess patient conditions for adverse reactions. Participate in mandatory on-call rotations and report equipment malfunctions or safety incidents to leadership. Works 7:30 AM to 6 PM with no weekend requirements for this Registered Radiologic Technologist role.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel
- Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Mandatory call rotation
