Job Summary
Support Operating Room cases by providing radiology guidance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and inserting intravenous lines for procedures such as myelograms and venograms. Perform portable x-ray imaging, set up sterile trays, and assist physicians with biopsy and aspiration procedures while maintaining proper safety techniques. Assess patient conditions during exams, recognize emergency situations, and transport patients between the Emergency Room and In-Patient areas. Participate in mandatory on-call rotations for 24/7 coverage. Work standard hours from 7:30 AM to 6 PM with no weekend requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel
- Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Mandatory call rotation
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in diagnostic radiology
- Prior experience in Operating Room procedures
