Job Summary
Provide Radiology guidance in the Operating Room, performing portable x-ray imaging and procedures such as myelograms, venograms, and arthrograms. Set up sterile trays, insert intravenous lines, and assist physicians with biopsy and aspiration procedures using proper sterile technique. Troubleshoot equipment issues and report them to leadership while participating in mandatory call rotation for on-call support. Transport patients between the Emergency Room and In-Patient areas as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel
- Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Mandatory call rotation
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in diagnostic radiology
- Prior experience in Operating Room procedures
