Job Summary
Perform radiographic diagnostic procedures on patients of varying ages; proficient in CT and X-ray techniques; operate and care for radiology equipment and computerized processing systems; provide pre/post-instruction to patients; assist radiologists and physicians in procedures; maintain safety regulations and proper disposal of hazardous waste; document incidents; contribute to a positive department climate; requires ARRT-certified radiologic technologist with CPR and a current license within one year and ability to work overtime/call-back as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Formal education program in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) accredited by AMA
- Current CPR certification
- Maintain ARRT license within one year of employment
- Proficiency in performing CT and XRAY
- Computer skills with RIS and PACS
- Ability to perform radiographic procedures on patients of varying ages
- Safety and regulatory compliance including hazardous waste disposal
- Ability to communicate with patients and radiologists/physicians
