Job Summary
Operate, monitor, and maintain radiographic and x-ray equipment during procedures while checking all devices before use to ensure safety and accurate imaging. Educate patients and families on pre-, during-, and post-procedure events, address questions, and monitor vital signs and pulses throughout invasive imaging procedures. Assist management with in-service training on equipment and radiation safety, maintain accurate patient and charge documentation, and ensure all required physician paperwork is signed and dated per regulatory standards. Serve as a team resource by providing guidance, resolving conflicts, and accepting delegated authority. Requires 2-4 years of clinical experience, ARRT certification, and BCLS within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state
- BCLS - Basic Life Support obtained within 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years of clinical experience in an Invasive Lab setting
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
