Job Summary
Transports and escorts patients to imaging areas, assists radiology technologists with patient positioning and prepping, and documents information in the EMR. Greets visitors, facilitates patient flow, and assists with preparing patients (including potential IV access) and managing imaging-related tasks. Handles transport between wheelchairs/stretchers and imaging equipment, maintains equipment and areas, assists with pulling and printing images, and supports office and supply needs. Adheres to infection control, radiation safety, and OSHA standards while supporting full-time weekend shift operations. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and AHA BLS-HCP certification. Responsibilities include patient flow, data entry, and collaboration with physicians and staff; orientation for new employees is included.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required
- Good interpersonal, communication and employee development skills
