Job Summary
Conduct junior and adult clinics, private lessons, and special events while teaching proper techniques, rules, and etiquette. Develop comprehensive racquet sport programs and maintain clean, organized facilities. Respond to member and guest inquiries, enforce club rules, and promote ongoing participation in racquet sports. Build a private clientele and actively support club initiatives to grow the game. Work part-time with a minimum of five hours per week, creating a regular on-court schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Teaches a minimum of five hours per week of junior and adult clinics
- Creates a regular schedule of on-court hours
- Builds and services a private clientele for lessons
- Follows, supports, and enforces all club rules and procedures
- Supports all programs and actively participates in ways to grow and improve them on and off court
- Has a mindset of growing the game of racquet sports and actively participates in club initiatives to accomplish this
- Serves as a leader of the club, both on and off court
- Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive racquet sport lessons and programs to ensure students develop along a pathway that will encourage continued involvement in racquet sports
- Assists in the promotion of and conducts racquet sport clinics, private lessons, special events, camps, and programs to ensure students develop along a pathway that will encourage continued involvement in racquet sports
- Quickly and efficiently responds to member and guest questions, comments, and concerns
- Attracts and maintains members' and guests' racquet sport participation and interests
- Provides beginner through advanced level racquet sport instruction (private and group)
- Strives to provide the best member and guest experience and supports the team in achieving the ultimate member and guest experience
- Actively promotes and participates in member events at the club
- Monitors, demonstrates, and instructs students on proper techniques and strategies to improve their overall game
- Ensures students understand racquet sport rules, scoring procedures, safety rules, and racquet sport etiquette
- Ensures all racquet sport facilities and equipment are clean, organized, and in good working condition
