Job Summary
Serve as the primary point of contact for members and guests by answering calls, booking court reservations and private lessons, and coordinating sports events. Assist with merchandise purchases, restock displays, and maintain Pro Shop cleanliness while tracking charge tickets and managing demo racquet accounts. Prepare courts daily using checklists, maintain clay and hard courts, and inspect nets and fences. Track inventory of accessories, replenish supplies, and generate monthly usage reports. Keep the facility clean and safe by vacuuming, managing laundry flow, and operating maintenance equipment. Communicate member feedback to management and attend staff meetings to contribute ideas.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Enthusiasm for racquet sports (tennis, pickleball, padel)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of emergency procedures and ability to respond appropriately
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
- Frequent bending, lifting, and outdoor activity
- Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions
- Ability to operate maintenance equipment and tools
