Racquet Sports Maintenance Attendant

Job Summary
Prioritize, acknowledge, document, and complete requested tasks efficiently for racquet court upkeep. Maintain courts professionally by brushing, lining, blowing sidewalks, weeding, cleaning net headbands, replacing lines, maintaining lighting, repairing fences, painting, carpentry, reapplying clay, and resurfacing. Operate and maintain power tools while conducting daily cleaning and disinfecting locker rooms, water fountains, coolers, and ice dispensers. Ensure amenities like towels, cups, ice, and coolers are consistently stocked and that all equipment meets health codes. Complete daily assignments to remove trash and debris, maintaining a safe environment for members and guests. Adhere to club values, wear the approved uniform, and follow all safety guidelines while assisting with additional tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in maintenance or custodial work
- Prior experience in a recreational or sports facility setting
- Familiarity with different types of racquet court surfaces (e.g., clay, grass, hard court) and their specific maintenance needs
- Understanding of safety protocols related to maintenance tasks and the proper handling of cleaning chemicals and tools
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with members and guests while performing maintenance duties
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs. on occasion
- Adherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet position deadlines
- Availability to work on weekends and/or holidays as required
