Job Summary
Communicate with supervisors to prioritize, document, and complete maintenance tasks for racquet courts, including brushing, lining, reapplying clay, and resurfacing. Maintain facilities by operating power tools, cleaning locker rooms and amenities, and ensuring equipment complies with health codes. Perform daily cleaning duties such as blowing sidewalks, weeding, and repairing fences while adhering to safety protocols and uniform standards. Assist with additional tasks as assigned and attend daily briefings to support club operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in maintenance or custodial work
- Prior experience in a recreational or sports facility setting
- Familiarity with different types of racquet court surfaces (e.g., clay, grass, hard court) and their specific maintenance needs
- Understanding of safety protocols related to maintenance tasks and the proper handling of cleaning chemicals and tools
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with members and guests while performing maintenance duties
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs. on occasion
- Availability to work on weekends and/or holidays as required
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet position deadlines
- Adherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule
