Job Summary
Dismantle race vehicles post-event to prepare for inspection and service, then conduct thorough evaluations of components for wear, fatigue, or damage using Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) techniques. Perform routine and corrective maintenance to ensure parts meet team standards and safety regulations, followed by cleaning, servicing, and reassembly to guarantee race-readiness. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and documentation in the workshop while supporting other technical functions and special projects as assigned. This role requires a minimum of two years' hands-on experience in NASCAR Truck, Xfinity, or Cup series environments and proficiency with non-destructive testing methods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Location: North Carolina (On-site)
- Industry: Professional Motorsports (NASCAR Cup/Xfinity/Truck Series)
- Minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience in a NASCAR Truck, Xfinity, or Cup series environment
Desired Qualifications
- Technical certifications or advanced training
- Proficient in non-destructive testing methods such as MPI and FPI
- Strong familiarity with the mechanical systems of race vehicles, including suspension, drivetrain, and braking systems
- Confident using a wide range of hand and power tools (wrenches, jacks, drills, saws, etc.)
- Comfortable working under pressure in a high-tempo, results-driven environment
- Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple ongoing tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
