Job Summary
Assist classroom teachers with instructional support, organization, and material preparation while providing one-on-one and small group academic reinforcement or behavioral redirection. Deliver educational interventions per teacher directives and supervise students across the classroom, playground, lunch area, and school events. Help maintain a safe, orderly, Christ-centered environment by modeling Christian character and communicating respectfully with students, staff, and parents. Attend staff devotionals, meetings, and trainings as required, performing other duties assigned by administration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to walk, sit, or stand for extended periods
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
- A committed member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, or a willingness to support the school's mission and values
- Enjoys working with children and demonstrates a nurturing, patient, and Christlike attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and administration
- Comfortable providing academic and behavioral support under teacher guidance
- Able to maintain confidentiality and uphold professionalism
Desired Qualifications
- some college or education-related experience
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to reflect His love to students
