Job Summary
Conduct case management for looked-after children post-care proceedings, including court work for revocation, contact disputes, and adoption orders. Investigate and analyze case information to produce realistic action plans, while ensuring adequate recording that evidences practice and complies with statutory requirements. Prepare and submit written reports, statements, and care plans for Family Proceedings, County, and High Courts. Provide professional assessments for children, young people, and their families, utilizing Restorative Practice to support the whole family. Attend the Civic Centre minimum two days weekly and complete one duty day, with hybrid working opportunities available.
Required Qualifications
- recognised Social Work qualification
- registered with Social Work England
- completed your ASYE
- previous experience of working within Children's Frontline services
- knowledge of child protection
- knowledge of looked after children
- knowledge of associated child in need
- social work practice
- knowledge of methods of social work intervention
- enhanced DBS check
