R2R Sr Accountant

Job Summary
Manage complex clearing, reconciliations, and adjustments to maintain accurate financial records while supporting the Record to Report (RTR) SWAT team with ad hoc tasks and complex bookings. Execute technical Year End Closing activities, including balance carry forward, asset accounting closure, and general ledger reconciliation, ensuring compliance with IFRS and Sulzer regulations. Maintain and update the chart of accounts, prepare complex journal entries, and drive continuous improvement of RTR processes using advanced ERP systems. Collaborate with local Finance Teams and Shared Services to ensure proper transaction accounting and support the Global Process Owner with system implementation and process definition.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Accounting with a strong focus on general ledger and financial reporting
- Proficient in ERP systems (relevant to your business unit; SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or iScala)
- Strong MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) skills
- Proficiency in English
Desired Qualifications
- CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent certification preferred
- Experience with Tagetik, Coprocess and Qlik Sense is a plus
