Job Summary
Lead front-end and service operations by ensuring consistent execution of selling behaviors, brand standards, and SOPs while holding the team accountable for store conditions and results. Coach best-in-class Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion, and provide Manager-on-Duty coverage to maintain floor leadership and operational continuity. Oversee Balloons business, birthday party operations, and the Knit & Sew Shop, including Cut Bar experience and Custom Framing consultations. Ensure accurate POS and Self-Checkout system use, promote Loyalty Rewards and MCC/Extend services, and drive BOPIS and Same Day Delivery fulfillment. Train team members through structured onboarding and support Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink. Work nights, weekends, and early mornings in a fast-paced environment requiring extended standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years retail leadership experience
- Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise and fixtures, up to 25-50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to climb ladders or step stools to stock and retrieve products
- Ability to perform repetitive motions, including scanning items, stocking shelves, and operating POS equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions
- Work hours include nights, weekends and early mornings
