Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of the Race and Sports book, ensuring all services and transactions comply with company policies and gaming regulations. Manage betting terminals and the Race & Sports betting system while supervising personnel, administering discipline, and coaching team members. Verify compliance with Title 31 and Reg. 22, log state reporting threshold transactions, and approve winning payoffs over specified limits. Maintain written records of shift transactions and personnel actions, report safety and maintenance issues before shift end, and handle guest complaints in accordance with company policies. Monitor supply stock, order supplies, and set schedules while controlling TV channels throughout the casino. Must be at least 21 years of age with two years of experience in Race and Sports, hold a high school diploma, and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have two (2) years of experience working in Race & Sports
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations
- Ability to operate Stadium computer software system
