Job Summary
Staff RN in ICU/CCU provides professional nursing care for assigned patient groups, coordinating and implementing age-appropriate care, utilizing nursing skills to assess biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care and educational needs, and developing, implementing, and revising the plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team. Requires California RN license, BLS, ACLS within 3 months, NIH Stroke Scale Certification within specified units, and ongoing Stroke Education; shift is nights (12-hour) within Emanate Health system.
Required Qualifications
- Current California RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification within 3 months of hire/transfer
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification A within 3 months for ICU/CCU/Neuro departments and FPH ICU/CCU/DOU
- Annual 8 hours of Stroke Education for relevant units
