Job Summary
Staff RN II CCU is a clinical practitioner responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care for a designated unit, using nursing skills to determine and address biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care and educational needs to develop and revise the plan of care. The role requires CA RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 3 months, NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 3 months for relevant units, and stroke-education requirements; 12-hour night shifts with every-other-weekend availability. The position emphasizes quality, safety, teamwork, and compassionate care within Emanate Health.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the State of California
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification within 3 months
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification "A" required within 3 months of hire/transfer for those working at QVH in ICU, CCU, or NEURO Departments and FPH in ICU/CCU or DOU
- Annual 8 hours of Stroke Education required for those working at QVH in ICU, CCU, or Neuro Departments
- One year critical care experience is preferred
- Must be available to work every other weekend
