Job Summary
Develop design verification strategies and protocols, determine testing methods/environments/tools, define schedules and resources, track progress toward verifications, draft and review verification protocols/reports, advise on verification risks and mitigations, assist with experimental design to characterize performance of components/sub-systems/systems, and travel up to 10%. This role sits in the Product Development Engineering team, onsite in Loveland, CO, and supports both new product development and sustaining efforts to improve usability, reliability, and customer outcomes. Requires a B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or physical science and 3-5 years in hardware/verification/quality/test engineering with product development background; experience with data analysis, DOE/DOEs, CPk, FMEAs, QA tooling, and defect/configuration management; familiarity with Minitab, R Studio, DiscoverSim, and risk-analysis tools; knowledge of electro-mechanical devices with firmware/optics/chemistry is a plus; ability to travel up to 10% and willingness to work onsite in Loveland, CO.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or physical science
- 3-5 years of experience in hardware design, Verification Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Test Engineering with Product Development background
- Experience with data analysis, statistical graphics, and inferential techniques
- Experience creating verification plans, protocols, and reports
- Experience with defect tracking and configuration management tools
- Availability to travel up to 10%, local or internationally
