Job Summary
R&D Veeva CoE Software Test Engineer responsible for designing and executing manual and automated tests, test planning, collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing test scripts, running tests, and producing detailed defect reports. You will review user stories and acceptance criteria, contribute to test plans and reports, ensure end-to-end coverage across web services and databases, and apply DevSecOps practices with a focus on test automation and continuous improvement. Strong collaboration with testers, developers, engineers, analysts, Scrum Masters, and delivery managers is required, along with keeping up-to-date on testing trends and best practices. Proficiency in English and effective communication with stakeholders is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or other relevant work experience
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in software testing on agile projects with a focus on test automation
- Experience with test design and set-up of test approaches
- Experience in testing web services
- Solid experience with relational databases and/or NoSQL
- Good experience with testing in the cloud
- Interest in the newest testing and test automation trends and best practices
- Good in analyzing problems and developing solutions
- Proficient in both oral and written communication in English
- Team player with innovative thinking
