Job Summary
Domain expert in Transformer R&D leading standardization projects, engineering and life cycle concepts for new transformer services; organize prototyping and testing activities to validate service concepts; develop standard policies, instructions, and training materials for knowledge transfer; collaborate with Hitachi Energy Research and global teams to drive performance improvements and coordinate between engineering, quality, and product management.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in engineering (electrical engineering, physics, or similar)
- More than 5 years of proven experience within electrical design (dielectric, magnetic and thermal calculation)
- Experience with transformer condition assessment and transformer testing
- Proficiency with advanced numerical simulations (e.g., magnetic or dielectric simulations) and commercial tools (Ansys, Infolytica)
- Fluent in English; additional languages advantageous
