Job Summary
Create 3D models and 2D drawings from conceptual designs using CATIA V5, and revise existing drawings as required. Collaborate with conceptual designers, tire development engineers, and research engineers to complete necessary files and generate models for predictive modeling. Program and automate 3D and 2D workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy while ensuring compliance with design standards. Make design changes requested by engineers to meet project needs. Primarily office-based with limited domestic travel required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or vocational school diploma
- Expert in CATIA V5 3D & 2D
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
- MS Excel
- Results-driven and self-motivated
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to travel domestically on a very limited basis
- Must be able to remain stationary for prolonged periods while working on a computer
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in a technical field
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Expert in CATIA V5 3D & 2D modeling
