Job Summary
The NI Test Engineer role involves developing and implementing Automated Test Platforms integrating both Hardware and Software for high-tech product testing. Responsibilities include collaborating with R&D teams, performing research to enhance test solutions, designing and deploying automated tests, and mentoring junior engineers. Required qualifications include a B.S. in relevant engineering disciplines and a strong understanding of programming and measurement principles. Ideal candidates demonstrate problem-solving skills, initiative, effective communication, and a passion for technology.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or mechatronics engineering
- Thorough understanding of measurement error sources, instrumentation selection, statistical analysis, software design and architecture, integration of hardware and software
- Passion for learning about and working with test industry technologies
- Strong work ethic and drive to succeed
- Fresh graduates are welcome
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of computers and high-level programming languages (LabVIEW, TestStand are an advantage)
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a group development environment
- Problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose technical issues
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Good listening skills for technical conversations
- Quickly learn applicable technology, systems, and products
- Effective communication in English
