Job Summary
The R&D Technologist I is responsible for making and testing new product samples for IPM/IPMPC customers, assisting in the development of new products, and improving existing products in terms of cost and quality. This role also involves supervising production trial runs, conducting competitor analysis, and maintaining relations with vendors. Key responsibilities include organizing ingredient orders, duplicating formulas to meet flavor profiles, and documenting procedures. The position requires critical thinking, the ability to manage customer projects from concept to commercialization, and team supervision. Specialized knowledge in equipment and products is expected to aid team members and train operators.
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of R&D processes from concept to commercialization
- Experience in product development under cost and nutritional guidelines
- Ability to document formulas and operating procedures accurately
- Critical thinking about formula changes
