R&D Technician

Job Summary
R&D Technician assists with laboratory experiments and process scale-up, documents data, maintains and prepares lab equipment and materials, and supports R&D scientists/chemists. Responsibilities include executing lab batches, acquiring materials, preparing test solutions, drafting technical documents, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and cGMP. Preferred qualifications include an associate’s degree and 3–5 years of industrial R&D/Lab experience, with skills in wet chemistry, instrumental analysis (HPLC, GC, FTIR, NMR), SOP development, and lab notebook documentation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Experience in a chemical manufacturing facility
- Preferred: Associate’s degree in Science or related field
- Lab notebook documentation
- SOP drafting/revision
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and cGMP protocols
- FDA compliance awareness
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Basic synthesis techniques and wet chemistry knowledge
- HPLC, GC, FTIR, NMR experience
