R&D Specification & Software Engineer

Job Summary
Define system requirements and specifications for new products; develop, implement, and validate embedded software and control algorithms for heat pump systems; draft and maintain documentation including functional requirements and use scenarios; collaborate with electronics, electrical, and control engineering teams to ensure correct hardware–software interactions; tune software and optimize algorithms to meet performance targets; support validation of prototypes and software behavior in laboratory environments; work with CAN, Modbus, UART, and proprietary protocols; apply data analysis and statistical methods to improve software functionality; communicate effectively in English with international teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Software or Electronic Engineering
- Proficiency in developing software
- Experience with data analysis and statistical methods
- Demonstrated knowledge of engineering design principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Advanced English level
- Ability to work on-site in Vacarisses, Spain
