Job Summary
R&D Specialist to execute tests and experiments in a materials R&D environment, documenting results and observations. Operate and maintain equipment (including 3D printers, mixers, and analytical instruments), maintain a clean lab and production space, participate in team discussions to interpret results and plan upcoming R&D efforts, autonomously propose and execute tests to achieve goals, and perform duties to keep R&D tests moving, including extended hours and occasional overnight work.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ yrs of hands on experience in a manufacturing, research, or R&D environment
- Must be able to work full-time on-site in El Segundo, CA
- Must be able to meet ITAR - U.S. export control requirements, such as being a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise eligible for required authorization
