Job Summary
Design, build, and operate scalable AWS SaaS services for AVEVA's Unified Engineering products, focusing on serverless APIs, identity flows, and desktop streaming technologies. Develop integrations with AVEVA CONNECT using API Gateway and Lambda, while managing Windows-centric infrastructure including EC2, FSx, and Active Directory. Contribute to CI/CD automation via Azure Pipelines and CloudFormation, ensuring secure, tested, and documented code delivery. Support service reliability and performance with strong observability, collaborating in agile teams to troubleshoot issues and communicate risks. This role offers full mentoring and a future opportunity to join the team's on-call rotation, ideal for early-career engineers eager to grow across a modern tech stack.

Desired Qualifications
- AWS & cloud foundations: VPC, EC2, S3, IAM/security groups; plus awareness of serverless (API Gateway/Lambda/DynamoDB), containers (Docker/ECS), and monitoring (CloudWatch/Datadog)
- Software engineering & languages: practical development experience in C# and JavaScript/TypeScript (Angular/Node.js), comfortable working across multiple languages, with solid Git-based workflows
- DevOps & delivery: understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Azure Pipelines) and infrastructure automation/IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform or similar)
- Windows & security fundamentals: Windows administration (AD, Group Policy, PowerShell, enterprise deployment/packaging awareness) and security best practices (SSO/SCIM, least privilege, encryption, network segmentation)
