Job Summary
As a Senior Software Developer at AVEVA, you will design, develop, test, and debug software applications while delivering production-quality software within a continuous integration and deployment environment. You will recognize and articulate technical decisions affecting software scaling, performance, and maintenance. The role demands at least 8 years' experience in major object-oriented programming languages, especially C#/.NET, along with solid leadership in medium-scale initiatives and the ability to provide mentorship to junior developers. Proficiency in automating tasks, understanding security, and building RESTful APIs is also required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience designing and developing in C#/.NET framework
- At least 8+ years of experience in software development
- Past ownership of high complexity products or services
- Ability to maintain existing codebases
- Effective technical mentorship
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with TypeScript
- Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, Google, AWS)
- Experience leading initiatives
- Ability to write well-tested code
