Job Summary

Hands-on bench scientist leading end-to-end IVD immunoassay development from concept through verification/validation and transfer to production. Applies design control and risk management to ensure assay specifications align with user needs. Selects and optimizes critical components (antibodies, enzymes/conjugates, buffers), develops robust formulations, and conducts rigorous verification and validation studies per CLSI guidelines. Develops scalable manufacturing processes for bioconjugates, supports design transfer to production, and authors technical reports for regulatory filings. Requires independent project leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and strong problem-solving skills to advance products toward market launch.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS or equivalent in life science with 5+ years of related experience OR MS degree with 3-4 years of related experience OR PhD with 2-4 years of related experience
  • Experience driving full lifecycle of IVD assay development from concept to commercialization
  • Mastery of antigen-antibody interaction-based immunoassay techniques
  • Familiarity with FDA/ISO design controls and global regulatory frameworks (e.g., U.S. 510(k), EU IVDR)
  • Strong analytical data analysis and ability to communicate scientific results
