Job Summary
R&D Scientist - Cell Line Development based at Hipra Campus (Aiguaviva, Girona). Conduct literature reviews and evaluate state-of-the-art technologies for targeted and semi-targeted integration strategies. Design and optimize experimental protocols for accelerated cell line generation. Supervise and monitor laboratory experiments, ensuring data integrity and reproducibility. Analyze experimental results and propose improvements to workflows. Design and construct expression vectors, including optimization of regulatory elements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate high-throughput and automated systems. Document all activities in compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related field
- proven experience in mammalian cell culture and genetic engineering for recombinant protein expression
- knowledge of vector design and optimization strategies
- familiarity with antibody biology and expression systems
- proficiency in spoken and written English for daily task development
- ability to work independently and lead a specific work package with strong analytical and creative skills, planning, follow-up, and proactivity
