Job Summary
The R&D Production Operator is responsible for all manufacturing activities in compliance with EHS and quality guidelines, requiring 2 to 5 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment, along with strong teamwork and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 5 yrs manufacturing experience preferably within a chemical environment
- Proven ability and desire to learn new processes and operate them independently and correctly
- Strong understanding of EHS requirements associated with chemical manufacturing
- Experience using Standard Work Processes along with Operational Discipline Principles
- Good understanding of GMP with regard to printing ink and dispersion manufacturing
- Solid basis of knowledge in Continuous Improvement tools and problem solving
- Demonstrated teamwork skills and actions
- Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations as required by the process instructions
- Ability to learn and effectively use automation systems such as PLC, HMI panels, etc.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and other computer tools for word processing, spreadsheets
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of Quality Systems and ISO registrations
- Batch production experience
- Process control and HMI usage familiarity
- Experience with mechanical equipment such as pumps, filters, mills, centrifuge, packout equipment
