Job Summary
Lead R&D projects by translating sales briefings into detailed scopes, developing project plans, and managing timelines, budgets, and risks while ensuring technical feasibility. Coordinate internal resources and third parties to execute product development, maintain project documentation, and escalate issues to management. Direct the R&D team daily, fostering relationships across departments and with external partners to drive innovation in heating, gas, and sanitary pipe systems. Leverage experience in extrusion or injection molding to convert creative ideas into realizable products within a 40-hour schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Master's diploma
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Innovation or R&D
- Experience in the extrusion or injection molding world within a production environment
- Experience with FMEA procedure
- Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor
- Familiarity with standard software packages
- Talent to successfully turn creative ideas into realizable products and processes
