Job Summary
R&D Lab Technician-Manufacturing responsible for setting up and testing commercial and industrial fans and related equipment, evaluating air, sound, and mechanical performance; assembling/modifying fans using hand tools, pneumatic tools, electric drills, impact wrenches, welding equipment; safely operating forklifts and overhead cranes per safety protocols; interpreting blueprints, drawings, and BOMs to verify parts and ensure accurate assemblies; supporting shipping/receiving and labeling/processing shipments; performing dimensional verification; inspecting and setting up test units in UL 705 motor safety testing facility and high temperature systems; wiring electric motors to facility electrical supply circuits; identifying root causes of equipment malfunctions and implementing corrective actions; adhering to company values and performing other duties as assigned; pay range $21.00-$26.00/hour with annual discretionary bonus and full benefits including 401K, medical/dental/vision, and additional programs.
Required Qualifications
- Requires strong mechanical aptitude
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience with sheet metal construction techniques, welding or equivalent
