Job Summary
Process ceramic powder systems to yield high-end technical ceramics and prepare samples for analysis using analytical instruments like Scanning Electron Microscopes. Grind and cut materials while maintaining logs, data records, and equipment books in accordance with standard operating procedures and quality guidelines. Support daily R&D operations, assist with non-routine projects, and perform cleaning activities to ensure a safe, compliant environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity. Gain hands-on experience in development and manufacturing within Heraeus Covantics' global high-tech division.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled university student
- pursuing a degree in a scientific or engineering discipline
- Previous laboratory experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to follow laboratory methods
- Ability to follow strict safety protocols
- Strong commitment to safety practices
- proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Strong organizational skills
