Job Summary
Prepare samples using standard lab techniques including dissecting, staining, washing, and drying. Support microscopy-based studies and imaging analysis with training provided, while performing routine tasks such as solution preparation, equipment setup, and data recording. Collaborate with scientists and engineers to support ongoing new product development for Bioprocessing within the CTO Metrology team. This full-time summer role offers hands-on experience in research environments focused on filtration technologies and biomolecular analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or higher degree in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a related field
- Basic understanding of biomolecules (e.g., proteins, DNA) via coursework or lab experience
- General familiarity with laboratory practices
- Ability to commit to full-time work over the summer and part-time availability during the academic term
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in: Hands-on experience on microscopy/imaging methods or other analytical characterization techniques for biomolecules is a plus
