Job Summary
Develop and implement algorithms associated with EO/IR/RF phenomenologies, generating signatures using COTS and GOTS software packages. Conduct R&D on remotely sensed data by modeling systems and developing analysis algorithms to support physics-based signature estimation. Collaborate with engineers and scientists to advance infrared sensor data analysis for the Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination of sensor data. Provide input to test or analysis reports and briefings while producing documentation on algorithm and tool development enhancements. Requires a BS in Physics or Engineering, Python/Matlab/C++ skills, and Top Secret clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Programming skills in at least one of the following languages Python, Matlab, C++
- An engineering and mathematical background of systems and EO/IR/RF signature generation
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to obtain security clearance
- BS in Physics, Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience and understanding of EO/IR signature phenomenologies specific to passive remote sensing applications and missile/aircraft systems
Desired Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- Thorough understanding of working in research, development, and data analysis environments
- Background in mechanical/aerospace engineering and modeling tools a plus
