Job Summary
R&D Engineer in China participating in the 18-month NETZSCH Innovation Talent Program (ITP) with an international rotation across business units. Design and develop innovative pump systems and components (positive displacement pumps) focusing on performance, reliability and sustainability; perform detailed engineering calculations; create and validate 3D models and technical drawings using CAD; collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of designs; conduct prototype development, testing, and certification activities according to industry standards; optimize designs for cost efficiency, manufacturability and energy efficiency; manage projects; participate in global projects and communicate with international stakeholders; after completing the program, transition into a permanent position within NETZSCH; English is mandatory for the program and applications should be submitted in English; willingness to travel internationally for coordination and testing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, material selection, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under time constraints
- Strong communication skills in English
- Project management skills (German language skills are an advantage)
- Willingness to travel internationally for project coordination and testing
