Job Summary
R&D Engineer Hardware responsible for advanced high-speed digital board design and debugging. Needs strong expertise in SI/PI, DDR, PCIe, SerDes, and lab-based measurement with spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes. Requires 8+ years of experience, EE degree (MS preferred), and strong English communication; candidate will work independently and within a team to deliver robust hardware solutions for Broadcom’s semiconductor and infrastructure software initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Education degree in EE or equivalent (MS advantageous)
- At least 8 years of relevant experience
- Solid knowledge in SI/PI
- Board level debugging skills
- Experience in high speed digital design
- Hands-on familiarity with DDR, PCIe, and SerDes
- Lab experience with spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes
- Self-starter capable of working independently and in a team
- Excellent verbal and written English communication
- Understanding of board design and related tools including high speed digital design, analog circuits, filters, regulators and controlled impedance implementations
