Job Summary
The Research & Development Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and improvement of aerospace components, processes, and technologies. Responsibilities include developing new products and technologies, improving existing designs, leading troubleshooting efforts, preparing test plans and technical reports, analyzing data, and guiding R&D Technicians. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace engineering or an R&D environment. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and experience with engineering principles are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace engineering or R&D environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with testing, product development, or manufacturing environments
Additional Requirements
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Candidates must/may need to be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
