Job Summary
Lead joint development projects with imec and external partners focused on advanced filtration and contamination control solutions. Design, plan, and conduct experiments to support new product development, utilizing imec's infrastructure to evaluate and validate emerging semiconductor market solutions. Communicate technical findings through internal reviews, customer engagements, and scientific publications while building strategic relationships with research institutions and industry collaborators. Monitor technology trends to translate insights into opportunities for innovation and business growth. Work within cleanroom environments following required gowning procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in R&D, semiconductor technology, or advanced materials environments
- Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in R&D, semiconductor technology, or advanced materials environments
- Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes
- Knowledge of chemical manufacturing
- Knowledge of wet etch technologies
- Knowledge of lithography processes
- Knowledge of associated materials
- Ability to work effectively in an international environment
- Ability to meet the requirements for international assignments
- Comfortable working in cleanroom environments
- Comfortable following required gowning procedures
