Job Summary
The R&D Chemist will be responsible for the formulation, development, and testing of adhesive materials, involving hands-on research, product development, and laboratory testing. Essential duties include conducting research and development of new adhesive formulations, performing laboratory testing to evaluate material properties, and analyzing data to document results. Collaboration with manufacturing and quality teams is necessary to support scale-up and commercialization of new products. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience in formulation chemistry, and excellent communication abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field
- 2-5 years of experience in formulation chemistry, R&D, or a similar role
- Hands-on experience with formulation, testing, and analytical instrumentation
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and testing protocols relevant to adhesives and electronic materials
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in water-based or acrylic product research and development
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
