Job Summary
The R&D Biologics Sample Management Technician is responsible for the integrity of biologics research samples, managing check-in, distribution, and maintenance of samples and cell lines. Candidates should have experience in a laboratory setting, particularly with biological samples, and be proficient in inventory management.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS or equivalent degree in biological sciences
- At least 3 years of experience in a laboratory setting
- Strong multi-tasking abilities
- Aseptic & Sterility Techniques
- Ability to handle culturing of at least 12 cell lines at a time
- Competent oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and organized
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in working with automated storage systems
- Experience with inventory/request database systems for biological sample management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Prefer Liquid handling-Tecan & Software management software/Freezer Pro
