Job Summary
Deliver packaging solutions supporting the Innovation agenda for Asia Foods and IndoChina Foods Business units within agreed timings and budget. Identify, evaluate, and validate new packaging materials, formats, and processing technologies to support innovation and productivity targets. Autonomously represent the R&D Packaging Function in cross-functional project meetings and design supply chain validation plans for PEP or COMAN sites. Create unambiguous packaging specifications compliant with PepsiCo R&D best practices and design multi-pack or promotion packs based on business requirements. Provide coaching and guidance to one junior Packaging Engineer while promoting health, safety, and welfare. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or related field with minimum 4 years of industry experience and strong English proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Packaging Engineering, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong written and spoken English proficiency
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the Packaging Industry
- Strong knowledge of Packaging materials, formats and processes
- Proven project management capability
- Strong prioritisation and execution skills
