Job Summary
Loan Servicing Associate I (LSLS06) within our escrow servicing team, responsible for delivering expert guidance on complex escrow activities, serving as a primary point of contact for client and stakeholder requests, coordinating tax and insurance escrows, mentoring junior associates, and driving process improvements. The role emphasizes end-to-end issue resolution, root-cause analysis of accounting and process issues, cross-functional collaboration, and contributing to system enhancements and user testing to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and strong client satisfaction. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and five years in banking/financial services or loan operations, with strong Excel skills and excellent communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Five years of experience in banking, mortgage, financial services, accounting, or loan operations.
- Experience in commercial loan servicing and escrow analysis.
- Proven adaptability to evolving priorities, systems, and policies, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client focus and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups) and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, interacting comfortably with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in a lead, senior, or mentorship capacity supporting loan servicing teams (preferred).
- Familiarity with commercial banking operations and sub-lines of business (preferred).
- Track record of identifying, proposing, and implementing process improvements that enhance risk controls and client outcomes (preferred).
