Job Summary
Quoting Specialist responsible for creating quotes for prototype and low-volume parts, managing CAD data and customer prints, using SolidWorks to overlay revisions, and creating job and purchasing routers for distribution. Requires an associate’s degree or equivalent with background in cost estimating or quoting, plus 1–2 years of quoting/cost-estimating experience. Strong SolidWorks and SpaceClaim skills, blueprint reading ability, and basic GD&T, metal forming, tube bending, and machining knowledge are essential. Responsibilities include applying GD&T to quoting, interpreting blueprints, supporting quoting activities, and interfacing with customers to ensure accurate cost estimates. Position based in the Jackson, MI facility with full-time hours, overtime as needed, and no travel required. Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent with a background in cost estimating or quoting
- 1–2 years of work experience in quoting/cost estimating
- SolidWorks proficiency
- SpaceClaim competency
- GD&T application
- Blueprint reading
- Knowledge of metal forming, tube bending, and machining
- Experience creating quote packages and routers
- Ability to manage multiple quoting projects under deadlines
- E2 MRP system familiarity
- Strong organizational skills
- Comfort with manufacturing environment
- Eligible to work in the United States
