Job Summary
Establish tool design and quote standards for modified and custom tools. Collect data by interfacing with customers and sales reps to select tool types. Gather manufacturing and engineering data to evaluate production feasibility and provide accurate quotations. Communicate regarding quotations, applications, and design engineering. Assist inside sales with order processing, phone calls, and mail during high-volume periods. Request material quotes, schedule production material usage, and monitor supply flow to identify shortages or bottlenecks. Produce reports based on production performance findings while ensuring compliance with local laws, industry standards, and ISO certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Basic Computer and software skills
- Manufacturing experience
- Engineering experience
- 3+ years of quoting experience
- 5+ years in Manufacturing, Engineering or Related Role
- Aerospace related experience
- AutoCAD
- Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent proven prospecting and customer service skills
- Strong reasoning ability to overcome objections and complete the sales process
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Proficient with Microsoft office Products
- Ability to foster and maintain customer relationships
- Must be able to move objects up to 20 pounds
