Job Summary
Prepare accurate and timely quotes for customers based on specifications and pricing models. Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to gather necessary information, while analyzing blueprints, drawings, and technical documents to understand project requirements. Utilize ERP and CRM systems to manage the quote pipeline and track progress, and negotiate pricing and terms with customers to secure profitable orders. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, manufacturing processes, and market pricing, and identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with proficiency in ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in quoting, estimating, or sales support within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost drivers
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a high attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems specific to manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Oracle)
- Familiarity with common manufacturing processes and terminology
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or blueprints
