Job Summary
Deliver accurate quotes on time to customers for part cleaning and chemical analysis services by managing the quoting business process from request to submission. Analyze technical documents describing cleaning requirements and review engineering drawings to determine XYZ and designate optimal cleaning sites. Interface with customers, sales, customer service, and engineering to gather information needed to set pricing and provide profitable quotes. Recommend and implement quoting process improvements using software tools. Maintain confidentiality of pricing information and manage cross-functional relationships. This role supports UCT's semiconductor industry operations, requiring a Bachelor's degree and experience in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Ability to manage changing priorities, work independently, under compressed timelines
- Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office: Microsoft Word, Office, PowerPoint, Excel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of pricing information both internally and externally
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 1 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Semiconductor industry experience a plus
- Experience collaborating across regions, business functions
- Positive attitude
- Detail oriented, organized, effective time management skills
- Highly responsible and dependable
- Ability to manage cross-functional relationships and resolve conflicts effectively
- Must be able to work 8 AM – 5 PM on Central Time Zone in United States
- Must be available for rotating weekend coverage, holidays per Manager scheduling
- Must coordinate PTO with Manager and back up to ensure account coverage
- Must be willing to take 1 annual 2 week trip to United States
